The Company

Founded in january of 2000, by the Electronic Engineer Artur Maia, Tanacas started its activities in a building located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Currently located in the Tijuca district, North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, Tanacas keeps the manufacturing of its products in the country and has clients all over Brazil and representatives in the North, South and Southeast regions.

Tanacas offers solutions for its clients through the development of electronic equipments dedicated to their needs. The company, after years of researches focused on the industrial and oil and gas sectors, developed its own line of equipments for measurement, control and register.

In the beginning, the company had as objective, the development of Digital Indicators. In constant technological updating, today Tanacas operates in four product lines: Instruments for front panel, instruments for back panel, bench products and monitoring and recording equipment for Cathodic Protection Systems.

All this developed and produced in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, with the promotion of after-sales assistance with more efficiency and less cost for the clients.

Besides the products, the clients also count on the convenience and safety that Tanacas' calibration laboratories offer. Seeking continuous quality improvement, investments were made in last generation standards to help in the calibration and quality control of its equipment and the acquisition of the Qualitronic Serviços de Calibração laboratory, with more than 20 years in the market. Thus, in addition to supplying high quality products, the company offers the option of supplying these products with a calibration certificate directly from the factory.

Tanacas also has a quality management system integrated to the management system of its calibration laboratory, guided by the ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025 standard, with scope of services accredited by Cgcre - General Coordination of Accreditation of Inmetro.
