Description
The current Shunt is used whenever you want to measure currents of high values, assisting the Ammeter and functioning as a Current Derivative, and the voltage drop in the calibration screws is calculated so that a certain rated current produces a voltage of 60 mV. Most of the current passes through the Shunt and only a small part reaches the Ammeter used, allowing the meter to work with high currents without problems and safely.
Applications
Tanacas Current Shunt can be used together with current meters, AC or DC converters, power supplies, power rectifiers, mobile coil to DC meters, as well as battery management and generator sets.
Applications in general industries in electrical systems and panels (electrical installations, including solar panel installation) and cathodic protection.
