Description
Tanacas Galvanic Isolator has as main goal to avoid measurement errors that may compromise the perfect operation of the system where it is inserted, on the accuracy of field information in industrial plants.
The product works without the need for external power, because it feeds from a small part of the input signal. Furthermore, the equipment can be supplied with one input channel and one output channel, or two input channels and two output channels.
Applications
Tanacas developed the IGT line of Galvanic Isolators, of 4-20 mA current signals, to solve problems of electric potential difference and ground loops in industrial installations, and works as a copier of input signals to output.
The equipment can be used, for example, to isolate signals from field sensors, uninsulated transducers, among others.
