Description

Tanacas Electromechanical Hour Meters are hour totalizers equipped with a microprocessed circuit with a crystal oscillator of high precision and frequency stability, which from the moment it is energized makes the electromechanical counter advance one digit at a time, which will give us the indication of elapsed time.

The counting is progressive and accumulative, i.e., the time totalizing is interrupted every time there is no power supply voltage to its terminals, and it returns to measure, from the point where it stopped, when the power supply voltage is reestablished.

The instrument's precision is in tenths of an hour, that is, each unit indicated is equivalent to 6 min. When 1 hour is totaled, the instrument will be showing 1.0, which in reality is 10 x 6 minutes.

Applications

The Tanacas Electromechanical Hour Meter (HET) is used in any type of machine where it is necessary to control the useful life time or the time of work performed, for cost analysis or for planning preventive maintenance of these machines.

Some examples of equipment that need the hour totalizers are operating machines, UV drying or automotive machines; compressors; generators; ships; electric panels; forklifts; among others.

They can also include work in the various segments of industry and services, such as in the textile, electrical, and mining industries, as well as services such as monitoring activities in the field.
